THE WHEAT AND THE TARES
Sadly, it is true, there will be little change as there has been no change since even before the death of the Lord's Messenger, Sister White ! It is as she stated in Testimonies Vol. 1 p. 608.
"In the last vision given me, I was shown the startling fact that but a small portion of those who now profess the truth will be sanctified by it and be saved. Many will get above the simplicity of the work. They will conform to the world, cherish idols, and become spiritually dead. The humble, self-sacrificing followers of Jesus will pass on to perfection, leaving behind the indifferent and lovers of the world. {1T 608.3}
Notice: There is a separation that must take place ! A separation of the tares and the wheat !
When did it start ? Notice:
"I then saw the third angel. Said my accompanying angel, "Fearful is his work. Awful is his mission. He is the angel that is to select the wheat from the tares, and seal, or bind, the wheat for the heavenly garner. These things should engross the whole mind, the whole attention."

"In a view given June 27, 1850, my accompanying angel said, "Time is almost finished. Do you reflect the lovely image of Jesus as you should?" Then I was pointed to the earth and saw that there would have to be a getting ready among those who have of late embraced the third angel's message. Said the angel, "Get ready, get ready, get ready. Ye will have to die a greater death to the world than ye have ever yet died." I saw that there was a great work to do for them and but little time in which to do it. {EW 64.1}
So, already by, June 27, 1850, the message of the Third Angel was being preached. That means then that the "harvest" of the "wheat and tares" had begun ! Not future as most SDA are being told today ! And here is another:
"God is gathering out and binding up those who love and serve Him, and the wicked are being bound in bundles, ready for the fires of the last day. It depends wholly upon us which bundles we will be in, whether we will be with the good wheat or bound in bundles for the fires of the last day. . . ". {CTr 60.6}
"God's Word is fulfilling; the wicked are binding themselves up in bundles ready to be burned." {CH 273.2}
Ever since the Third Angel's Message began, which was already happening in June 27, 1850, the Righteous and the wicked have by their daily lives, been "binding themselves" for life or death !
Adventists have been teaching for years that the "time of the end" began in 1798, but, failed to realize what they were really saying ! "The End of What" ? The end of the world !
IT IS HARVEST TIME ! NOT FUTURE !
TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION
OR DAMNATION !
"I saw a little company traveling a narrow pathway. All seemed to be firmly united, bound together by the truth, in bundles, or companies. Said the angel, "The third angel is binding, or sealing, them in bundles for the heavenly garner."

Notice that this has been the case since June 27, 1850, and just prior to that date.
So many times people say to me, "well,
the angels do the binding and separating, not us. " But we have just read that we actually do it ourselves, not the angels ! And notice this one:
Learning to Gather the Crop.--
"There is need of education--the training of everyone who shall enter the gospel field, not only to use the scythe and mow the crop, but to rake it, to gather it, to care for it properly. This mowing has been done everywhere, and amounted to very little because there has been so little earnest work done by personal effort to gather the
wheat from the chaff and bind it in
bundles for the garner.

So contrary to popular SDA teaching on the subject at hand, we each one, as workers with Christ have a "Personal" part to do in the "binding and sealing" process ! While the Angels are helping us in every way, we are the ones who bear the Message of the Third Angel to the whole world, by the lives that we live, by pen and by voice ! And, according to their response to that message, every person either "binds themselves" for the heavenly garner, or the fires of hell !
We do not do the "binding", but we seek to help people choose to bind themselves to Christ !
"The time of the judgment is a most solemn period, when The Lord gathers His own from among the tares. Those who have been members of the same family are separated. A mark is placed upon the righteous." {TM 234.2}
When did the "Judgment" begin ? a Day of Atonement, October 22, 1844.
So when did Christ began the "harvest" in the, "end of the world" ? October 22, 1844 !
"God will inspire His loyal and true children with His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the representative of God, and will be the mighty working agent in our world to bind the loyal and true into bundles for the Lord's garner. Satan is also with intense activity gathering together in bundles his tares from among the wheat. {GCB, March 4, 1895 par. 4}
"Every one will reveal the character of the bundle with which he is binding himself. The wheat is being bound up for the heavenly garner. The true people of God are now bound up for the heavenly garner. The true people of God are now pulling apart, (((from the tares))) and the tares are being bound in bundles ready to burn. {1888 995.2}
