You are right, the
message of Truth
never changes,

It is not the Message of Truth that changes, it is the
relationship of the people to The Truth !
It is the people that change from being faithful
to being unfaithful ! That change from "faithfulness"
to "un-faithfulness" is called apostasy !
From Genesis to Revelation God's Truth is clearly
revealed, but very few of the people at any time in
history were faithful to The Truth,

Abraham was faithful, but his children were in a
continual up and down relationship to God's Truth !
God plainly told them, "If you obey

I will Bless you, but if you disobey

So finally the Jewish Nation were beyond recovery and
when Jesus came they crucified Him. Just before His

desolate", Christ withdrew from the Temple

"the church" never to return ! The Jews had "divorced"
themselves from Christ, which was signified by the
rending of the temple curtain ! If we were to take
the understanding, of many Christians,
then the "church" fell.
It was not the "church" that fell, it was the
people who
had been chosen by God as His Church, that rejected The
Truth, rejected the very Author of Truth and their Savior
and killed Him ! Those who accepted Christ as the
Messiah were "The Church" and it continued on
in spite of the fall of the majority and their
religious leaders ! Jesus then chose "new leaders"
to continue His Church.

When they reached the point of no return to the Truth,
God raised up, a host of Reformers and His Church never
fell, it continued on ! But those who
clung to the Pope, fell !
Those who refused to accept the abominations of the
Papal Hierarchy, were God's Church !
Are you beginning to see the direct parallel to the
"professed church" today. The Papists went right on
claiming to be "the church" but kept all
their abominations !

If we were to believe the way many try to tell us, then
Jesus made a mistake in rejecting the Jews and
choosing New Leaders for His Church !
